The serial numbers beginning with 2S (Silent) or 2C (Standard) . This vintage piece is not just a tool but a slice of history from the United States, ready to be a featured standout in any collection.
These come with variations on branding and features. Most of them are ‘Standard’ or ‘Silent.’ I tend to send the best one I have, due to rarity. The Standard has no tabs.
Unlike it’s crinkle black cousins, or it’s black siblings, a few of these beauties fame in this rare gloss maroon.
The maroon ranges from a deep dark brownish red to a very light blood-like color. The decals are gold; sometimes the Corona on the front is white.
They are one of the fastest typers you will find, with that distinctive ‘glass keyed’ look of the era.
