1940’s Corona Standard Flat Top Typewriter

This gorgeous Corona is en route to a lucky writer today.

It's been polished to a fine gloss.

And the platen has been resurfaced.

Vatiations:

Some of these have tabs and some of them don't.

Some are branded Corona and some Smith Corona.

Sometimes they have kind of a larger rounded carriage return lever. The one shown here is the 'Clipper' style.

The only week link is the manual ribbon reversal. It usually only works sometimes. However I can't blame them because they fixed it a few years later.

Oh and the rubber on the rollers holds up very well on these. Compared to their Remington counterparts.
